French-English actress and singer, she is the daughter of French actor, composer and singer Serge Gainsbourg and actress Jane Birkin. He made his first film in 1984, Paroles et Musique. In 1986, she won the César for most promising actress for her appearance in the film L`Effrontée. In 2001, he was a member of the jury at the Cannes Festival. In 2009, she received the Best Actress award at the Cannes Film Festival for her work in Antichrist, by Lars von Trier.
