Jonas and Rebeca, orphaned brothers, live in an old mansion on Rua do Grito with their weakened grandmother and a mysterious child hidden in the basement. Rebeca wants to leave the past and move forward, but Jonas resists, tormented by the screams and whispers of family secrets kept for generations.

Brazilian filmmaker and actress with more than 20 years of career. He worked with renowned directors, such as Suzana Amaral, Hector Babenco, Heitor Dhalia and Juliana Rojas. He directed short films, a television film and one of the segments of the feature film Fucking Different São Paulo (2010). In 2019, he represented Brazil at Blood Window, a horror laboratory at Ventana Sur, with O Porão da Rua do Grito, winning an award in its category, which led to his work being shown at the Marché du Film (Cannes, 2022). In 2022, he directed the first Brazilian “dorama”, Além do Guarda-Roupa, and the comedy As Aparências Enganam (2023) for HBO Max.
