about the director ANA RIEPER

A documentary filmmaker, he has been directing and scripting films that address the relationship between music and society. He directed the short films Saara, Veluda and Mataram meu Gato, which were shown and won awards at several festivals in Brazil and abroad. His best-known work is the documentary Vou Rifar meu Coração, about romantic imagery in Brazil based on the universe of brega music. She is the director and screenwriter of the documentary Clementina, about the singer Clementina de Jesus, among other features and series. He is currently finishing a feature-length musical about the Brazilian patriarchal family.
