The film tells the story of three families affected by the loss of a father in a São Paulo suburb neighborhood and the lonely mother acquires the aura of a holy warrior, worshiped in tattooed bodies and graffiti walls. However, these women seem to be attached to a pedestal they did not choose to be on and which bears a great resemblance to that of Mater Dolorosa.
