Dead Ones, Do You Live?

Gabriela Greeb

2018, 73’
Based on unpublished private sound and image archives, testimonies, meetings and fictional interventions, the film reveals the memory and presence of the writer, poet and playwright Hilda Hilst at Casa do Sol, where she lived in Campinas. Her voice, in recordings registered between 1974 and 1979, in search of contact with the after-life, is the guiding thread of the film.
