Georgia Costa Araújo has been running the production company Coração da Selva for 15 years, being responsible for the company and for the production of all its films and TV series. She works with the development of scripts, casting and talent management, authors, directors, technicians and suppliers for the production of the works until their distribution, being also responsible for fundraising, legal and negotiation aspects. Graduated in Cinema at the University of São Paulo - USP, at the beginning of her career in the 1990s, she followed the rising of the audiovisual industry, called Retomada (Recapture), and was the partner of the leading artists and exponents of the market. She has produced several outstanding works for cinema and TV in different formats and genres, featuring the winning series at the International Emmy Kids Awards 2013 Pedro & Bianca, the award-winning feature film Praia do Futuro, directed by Karim Aïnouz, which premiered at the Competitive Exhibition at Berlin Film Festival in 2014, and more recently, the original HBO series The Secret Life of Couples.
