A film about making a family. With a young black and trans woman as the protagonist, it records the craftsmanship of relationships through time, death and change. After her father`s unexpected and early death, Maria spends a year away from her family. On Christmas Eve, she returns. The reunion with home, mother, siblings and grandmother reactivates memories and strengthens relationships.

Filmmaker, artist-researcher and translator. Graduated in Radio and TV (ECO-UFRJ) and master in Literature, Culture and Contemporary (PUC-Rio). In 2021, he wrote with Natália Maia the short film Pelos Olhos que te Vejo (dir. Marcos Ferreira and Alan Góes, in finalization) and directed the production of the short Deus Não Deixa (dir. Marçal Vianna, 2022). Currently, he is developing the fiction feature Dalva-K (Erica de Freitas); completes, as producer, the short film Sarau (dir. Cleissa Martins); is pre-producing his second short, O Menino e as Butterboletas Zumbis, co-directed with Thomas Argos. Ave Maria, written by her, is her directorial debut.FILMOGRAPHY
