The film portrays Delphine, a young Cameroonian woman who, like others, belongs to the generation of young African women crushed by patriarchal societies and abandoned to Western sexual colonization as their only means of survival. Through her courage and strength, she exposes these patterns of domination that continue to imprison African women.
about the director ROSINE MBAKAM
Director of fiction and documentaries, she graduated from the National Institute of Performing Arts and Broadcasting Techniques (INSAS) in 2012. She grew up in Cameroon, and chose cinema from a very early age, graduating in Yaoundé thanks to the teams at the Italian NGO COE , where she was introduced to editing and directing in 2000. She collaborated and produced several institutional films for that organization before joining the STV (Spectrum Television) team in 2003, where for 4 years she held various positions, such as editor, director, presenter and manager program.FILMOGRAPHY
