Era o Hotel Cambridge tells the story of refugees, recently arrived in Brazil who, together with a group of homeless workers, occupy an old abandoned building in downtown São Paulo. Daily dramas, comical situations and different views on the word commingle with the threat of impending eviction.

Graduated in Psicology in PUC-SP and master degree in the Estética y Teoria de la Artes Institute of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, she began her career as a filmmaker with three award-winning shorts: O Nariz, Arabesco and Caligrama. Next, she wrote and directed four feature films. The most recent, Era o Hotel Cambridge, participated in national and international film festivals, Previously, she wrote and directed the award winning features Kenoma, Narradores de Javé/ The Storytellers e O Sol do Meio Dia/ The Midday Sun. She is known for being an auteur filmmaker.
